This evening we had Emma Davis- McIntosh speak to us about NHS services we may not be aware of, and how to access them, such as audiology, physiotherapy, podiatry, mental health. Monday 5th February
Our speaker today was Natalie Evans a Cyber Community Support Officer who spoke to us about how to become cyber aware.
She made us aware of telephone, text message and e mail scams. We were advised to use Password Manager or similar to store our passwords and to use three random words to create our passwords. It was suggested we use two step factor authorisation. We learnt where to report scams. It was scary to realise how easy we make things for potential scammers, but we will certainly improve our internet security as a result of Natalie’s talk.
